i think its been two whole weeks since i last posted and ive missed out on ALOT.
try the americans who came down about 2-3 weeks ago and left last friday.
we had a blast hosting them. it didnt quite seem that well when we first got to know them cos we were being pretty introverted, with the obvious exception of the mi people who were social butterfliesss. after we'd really gotten to know them and warm up to them, there was so little time to really interact so that was a pity. but nonetheless we all enjoyed ourselves. to summarise the 2 days they were in ij:

day 1: we skipped the entire day of school which was awesomeee. we toured with them, our school went nuts over the guys, i think chris in particular, which was pretty funny cos it was exactly how me and amanda predicted it would be. girls went ooh-ing and ahh-ing and giggling and waving and shouting OH MY GOD whenever he walked past. ahaha.
anyway after we had finished setting up their stuff for presentation during the later part of the afternoon, we started playing freezetag! initiated by emilyyyyy. it was lotsa fun considering i havent played it in. years i think. even the guys joined in which was hilarious. then we moved to the hall! where we had 2 games of boys on girls DODGEBALL. ok the boys on girls thing, it isnt LITERAL. thats for those who have dirttyyyy minds. haha.
the girls pretty much lost both rounds cos we were mostly made up of singapore girls and we've never played it before and the guys. well have lots of experience. plus they've got jared on the team. and he's like STRONG. hahaha. anyway the presentation was fun and after school we headed to clarke quay which was just as fun. we screamed and laughed and oh boy. enjoyed it oh so much.
anywayyyy.
day 2: the guys didnt come this time and i guess u can figure why. haha. the girls, kate and andrea only stayed for 3 lessons which was pathetic cos the day started off with chinese and yeh they dont get chinese. haha. i just taught her words like america, singapore, you, me and yeh u get the point. then literature when i thot it'd be funnn with mag low and everything, she didnt turn up cos she had to invigilate an exam so it was a waste. they left after school and i rushed to the d and t lab to say byeee. ju cried, it was sad, but stilll they were waving and trying to cheer her up. i love that group. im sooo dying to go back next year. im keeping my fingers crossed till ms lim announces the next vex team. roar.

anyway. what else have i missed? ahhh yes. my ca results, it didnt turn out as badly as i thot. my lowest was a c5 so im not that depressed. haha.
anddddd. joakim's outt! haha yeh just wanted to say that. im sooo glad. its about time baybeh.
